I am a Registered Social Worker with a Master of Social Work degree and over 20 years of experience supporting individuals through a wide range of life experiences and mental health concerns. My goal is to create a safe and collaborative space where clients feel understood, build on their strengths, and develop tools to move toward meaningful change.
My practice has a particular focus on trauma treatment and includes advanced training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. I also support clients navigating identity exploration and emotional challenges, helping them build resilience and move forward with greater confidence and clarity.
In addition to EMDR, I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT). I hold an undergraduate degree in Psychology and Law, and a Master’s in Healthcare Policy, Management, and Evaluation with a concentration in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety.
