Bay View Therapy Centre is seeking a Registered Psychotherapist or Registered Social Worker to join our growing Downtown Orillia team.

Registered Psychotherapist / Social Worker – Orillia

Bay View Therapy Centre is a well-established psychotherapy practice providing high-quality mental health services across Simcoe County. We have been proudly serving clients in our Downtown Orillia location and are continuing to grow our team. This role offers administrative support, a beautiful office space, and support in building your caseload—so you can focus on client care.

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate therapist who is committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based care to children, youth, and adults, and is looking to grow their practice within a supportive and collaborative environment.

This role is an Independent Contractor position, allowing you to focus on client care while receiving administrative, marketing, and referral support to help build your caseload.

Applicants must live locally and be available to provide in-person sessions in our Downtown Orillia office, along with virtual care.

Hours

•10+ hours per week

•Evening and/or weekend availability preferred to support building and maintaining a consistent caseload

Qualifications

•Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counselling Psychology, or related field

•Registered (or qualifying) with OCSWSSW or CRPO

Ideal Candidate

•Minimum 3 years of experience providing psychotherapy to adults and/or youth

•Demonstrates strong clinical judgment and the ability to work independently

•Experience providing evidence-based therapies

•Integrative and client-centered in their approach

•Comfortable managing their own caseload and schedule

Assets:

•EMDR, TF-CBT, CPT, or Gottman Method Couples Therapy training

•Experience working with First Responders

•Experience providing couples therapy

•Experience working with children and youth
